Overview
The Fujitsu General UTY-RNKYT (reference AR-6TC2) is a 3-wire wired remote controller for compatible Fujitsu General air-conditioning systems.
Its large LCD gives day-to-day control of the connected indoor unit: start and stop, set temperature, operating mode, fan speed and airflow direction, including swing where supported.
Built-in weekly and daily timers handle scheduled operation, and the setback timer changes the temperature automatically during chosen periods. The built-in thermo sensor can read room temperature at the controller, improving comfort where the indoor unit sensor is badly placed.
For service teams it offers filter reset, maintenance indication, defrost indication and error display. On compatible systems one controller can manage a group of indoor units, which suits homes, offices, shops, hotels and commercial buildings.
Compatibility note: Fujitsu General sells this controller design under several regional model numbers. Ours is labelled UTY-RNKYT (AR-6TC2) on the back. Confirm your indoor-unit model before ordering.
